Susan Encabo Cornelio, 54, Filipino, is the First Vice President and Head of the Human Resources and Administration Department of GT Capital Holdings, Inc., a position she has held since July 4, 2012. She was recently appointed as a Member of the Board of Trustees and the Executive Committee of Manila Tytana Colleges (formerly Manila Doctors College). Prior to joining GT Capital, she served as Vice President of Human Resources at Sterling Bank of Asia and as Assistant Vice President at United Coconut Planters Bank. She has also held key human resources leadership positions in several financial institutions, including Metrobank, ABN AMRO Offshore Banking, Solidbank, and Citytrust.

She earned her Bachelor of Science in Commerce, major in Accounting, from Sta. Isabel College–Manila. She holds a Master’s degree in Business Economics from the University of Asia and the Pacific and a Master Certificate in Human Resources and International HR Practices from Cornell University’s School of Industrial and Labor Relations. She completed her Doctor of Philosophy in Human Resource Management at the University of Santo Tomas, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude.
